Today our Buddy Class (Room 21) invited us to the senior playground to view the Pinatas they made and to help bust them.  They had worked so hard to make incredible pinatas and they looked too good to smash open...but we joined in and had a lot of fun.

The Adventures of Travelling Ted

Travelling Ted is awake after sleeping all winter long.  He has started his journey to meet the children of Room 3 and their families.  Every night TT travels home with a child and spends the night.  The following are photos that the children have taken while TT is visiting them.  

TT will be a familiar face at some dinner tables over the next few weeks, as he has visited some of the Room 3 families before.  Big brothers and sisters have had their turn at taking TT home and I am sure they will have fond memories of when TT came home with them.

Folkdancing

The Junior School have been learning lots of folk dances from around the world.  In Room 3 we choose 2 of these to dance at our Folk Dancing Performance.  The first one was the Mexican Hat Dance (Baile de Sombrero) and the second was Carnavalito, a folk dance from Bolivia.  We practised a lot and then performed 3 shows for our family and friends.

World Wonderful Weirdos Day

September 9th is World Wonderful Weirdos Day.  In Room 3 we celebrated being weird by dressing up.  Some of us had on silly costumes, others wore odd clothes, put clothes on backwards, inside out or upside down.  Tyler even wore his underwear on his head!  We went to Sturges Rd Kindy for a visit and a play with some old friends, and even made some new ones.  We had a wonderful day.
